India and the US have marked a reminder of comprehension (MoU) on collaboration in the field of digital security, an official proclamation said here on Wednesday.
"India and the US have marked a reminder of comprehension between the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) under the Ministry of Electronics nd Information innovation of the administration of India and the Department of Homeland Security, legislature of the United States of America on participation in the field of digital security," the announcement said.
The understanding was marked by Aruna Sundararajan, secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, and Richard Verma, US Ambassador to India, on Wednesday here.
"The MoU expects to advance nearer co-operation and the trading of data relating to the digital security as per the important laws, tenets and controls of every economy and this MoU and on the premise of correspondence, correspondence and shared advantage," the announcement said.
Prior the US and India had marked a MoU on July 19, 2011 to advance nearer collaboration and convenient trade of data between the associations of their separate governments in charge of cybersecurity.
Since, July 19, 2011, normal communications between CERT-In and US CERT are occurring to share the data and talk about digital security-related issues.
In continuation to the collaboration in digital security regions both have recharged the MoU, the announcement included.
